‘$’ or ‘Dollars’ is a 1971 film directed by Richard Brooks and Starring Warren Beatty and Goldie Hawn. The soundtrack was composed by the incomparable Quincy Jones and blends experimental jazz and R&B. The soundtrack also features contributions by rock ‘n’ roll trailblazer Little Richard, singer/songwriter Roberta Flack and American fiddle player Doug Kershaw. The album has been used for samples by the likes of Gang Starr and Mobb Deep.
