"Kun Oxfordista valmistunut kielitieteilijä Seppänen palasi Suomeen, hän heitti akateemisen uran syrjään ja alkoi tehdä musiikkia. Yli kymmenen vuotta Dreamtale- ja KYPCK-yhtyeiden mikinvarressa toivat mukanaan 10 pitkäsoittoa ja veivät noin 750 keikalle aina Eurooppaan, Venäjälle ja Kiinaan asti. Metallin ohella Seppänen esiintyi kuitenkin myös akustisilla keikoilla ympäri Suomea. Tämä materiaali koostui hevicovereiden lisäksi suomirockin klassikoista ja myös kevyemmästä popista: ”Mä sävelsin jonkin verran tämmöistä matskua näitä keikkoja varten kunnes keikkareissuilla kehkeytyi sitten kaikenlaista tarinaa ja ilmaisua, joka halusi koko ajan enemmän ja enemmän esiin.”
