KO:MI is the solo project of the multi-instrumentally talented Sanna Komi (Pintandwefall, Iisa, Cats of Transnistria etc). According to KO:MI, the debut album Songs of Them presents soundtracks to imaginary movies, and the very visual quality of the music is evident from the start. This is creative DIY chamber pop, in which effect-laden violins, electronic elements and evocative vocals abound.
