Almost twenty years on from their sole full-length studio recording, British-American heavy metal titans Heaven & Hell – comprised of Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and ex-Sabbath luminaries Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice – will be releasing a new boxset in 2025 compiling their hallowed ‘The Devil You Know’ album and two fan favourite live sets recorded at Radio City Music Hall and Wacken Festival.
The four members of Heaven & Hell recorded and toured together as Black Sabbath from 1980 to 1982 and from 1991 to 1992, as Dio had replaced founding Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne and Appice had replaced founding drummer Bill Ward, with name of the group derived from the 1980 album ‘Heaven and Hell’.
These deluxe CD and LP boxsets are the complete discography from Heaven & Hell and are the final recordings of Ronnie James Dio before he passed away. Live From Radio City Music Hall is released in its entirety on vinyl for the first time ever and the separate concerts films have been upscaled to HD and complied onto a hi-definition BluRay for the first time ever. The Devil You Know also contains three, rare bonus tracks which have never been available on vinyl.
